ABOUT ME

     I am a versatile and multitalented artist originally from Missouri, now located in the Pittsburgh area.  I've been an illustrator since I was young, drawing as a hobby and taking every art class through high school that was available to me.  Only recently since attending Tom Savini's Special Effects Program at Douglas Education Center have I started creating 3D work and have grown a huge passion for it.  Seeing something I made with my own hands come to life is indescribable and I would like to continue chasing that rush.

     I would characterize my work as quality oriented.  Whether it’s make-up, a mold, a drawing or a sculpture, I present my art with a style of professionalism.  I enjoy bringing focus to the beauty of small details, relying heavily on reference and realism.  Others have described my craft as intriguing like a flame that attracts a moth to keep returning, forcing light upon an area of darkness.  I pull inspiration for my art through music and film, specifically from the decade of the 80’s.  Creating is, and always has been, important to me and I'm hoping to bring my perfectionist eye to contribute to a team of artistic individuals.
